"It’s rather obvious these days that farms are getting larger, while farm equipment
becomes ever more technologically advanced. That means farm equipment dealers have
to adapt if they’re going to survive … which is exactly what LandMark Implement Inc. has
been doing for more than 60 years.
Established in 1947 when Dick McClymont and his father, Clyde, purchased the John
Deere dealership in Holdrege, Nebraska, LandMark Implement has grown over the years
to include several partners, as well as dealerships in Minden, Nebraska, and Phillipsburg
and Smith Center, Kansas — all of which were merged together under the LandMark
banner in 2006.
Now, we’re happy to welcome two new John Deere dealerships in Lexington and
Gothenburg, Nebraska. Through the combined efforts of six Midwest dealerships, we’re
able to offer expanded service capabilities, a larger parts inventory, specialized product
support and more competitive pricing on parts and whole goods, via volume buying, to
all our customers. In the meantime, we’re able to stock a larger, more diverse inventory
of equipment to meet the needs of customers on both sides of the Kansas/Nebraska
border, whether they grow wheat, corn, soybeans or alfalfa.
Most importantly, we intend to be your local long-term agricultural equipment solution
provider. Despite our growth and expansion over the past six decades, Landmark
Implement remains a family-owned company whose owners are still involved in the
business today. We want to remain in touch with our customers so we’re able to
recognize and anticipate your needs first-hand. Plus, we think it’s important that the
people who own the company are helping participate in its success." .....Andy Grollmes
